EMERGE
Something in you is alive.
Something has begun to stir.
A desire.
An idea.
A longing.
More energy than you've felt in a while.
A creative impulse.
A feeling you can't quite explain.
You know it has your attention.
And you may already have started talking yourself out of it.
WHAT I LISTEN FOR BENEATH THE STORY
You bring your real life into the room.
You tell me what is happening.
I listen closely — not only to the story, but to what I can sense underneath it.
I notice what you don't say.
Where your energy changes.
Where you contract.
Where something suddenly comes alive.
Sometimes I hear something in the way you speak before you have heard it yourself.
I may hear the desire underneath the explanation.
The hesitation underneath the certainty.
The part of you that has been quiet because it was easier, safer or more practical to leave it there.
And when the moment is right, I may reflect back what I am hearing.
Sometimes the right words can bring something into focus.
What you do with it is yours to decide.
We stay with the experience.
WE COME INTO THE BODY
We slow down enough for you to feel what is actually there.
A bubbling in the belly.
Warmth.
A pull.
Pressure.
Lightness.
Something moving.
You stop trying to explain it for a moment. You feel it.
What your mind has been trying to explain away.
What your body has known before you had words for it.
And over time, you begin to recognise your body's language.
A yes can start to feel different from fear.
A no can become easier to hear.
You become more familiar with what happens in you when you move towards something — and when you move away.
The body can begin to remember what the mind has been trying to understand.
Important moments can settle more deeply when they are felt, not only understood.
We stay close.
We let the body have a say.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
I am listening for what is alive.
For the desire underneath the story.
For the part of you that became quiet because it was inconvenient, frightening, impractical or too much.
For the places where fear has become so familiar that it sounds like reason.
And I am listening for what is true enough to stay with.
What keeps returning.
What has weight.
What grows when you give it attention.
What asks for patience.
What is yours to follow.
And what may be asking to be left alone.
That is where discernment matters.
Because not every strong feeling is a direction.
THE PRACTICE IS CHOSEN FOR YOU
The practices we draw on are chosen for what is needed in the moment.
Yoga Nidra can quiet the thinking mind enough for what has been underneath it to become more accessible.
Yin can bring you into places where the body has been holding and bracing.
Energy work can reach places where words have reached their limit.
Sometimes the body needs to move.
Sometimes it needs to become very still.
Sometimes we stay with a question and let it unfold.
Sometimes we work with an image, a sensation, an intuition — something that doesn't have a clean name yet.
I don't reach for a practice because it is one of the tools I use.
I choose it because this moment, this woman, this particular aliveness calls for it.
Sometimes the right practice is not obvious at first.
That is where experience matters.
And discernment.
Knowing when to stay with what is here, and when something is asking to move.
THE WORK LEAVES THE ROOM
The work doesn't stop when our session ends.
You notice something.
You have an unexpected reaction.
You take a step.
You pull back.
You realise something you hadn't seen before.
You can bring it to me. Then we look at what happened together.
I want there to be space for those moments to become part of our work together.
Because some of the most important things don't happen while we are sitting in front of one another.
They happen when you are back in your life.
In the conversation with your partner.
In the decision you have been putting off.
In the moment your body says no.
In the moment you notice yourself wanting something again.
The session is not separate from the life you are living.
You bring what happens in life back into the room, and we listen again.
OVER TIME
You begin to recognise what genuinely lights you up.
You notice sooner when you are talking yourself out of it.
You become more discerning about fear, desire and urgency.
You make room for what matters.
You begin to trust the signals you once questioned.
Your body becomes a place you can listen to, rather than a place you have to manage.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you act.
You know yourself more quickly. You trust yourself more deeply.
What began as a feeling begins to have a firm place in your life.
Your aliveness stops being something you visit; it becomes something you move from.
THE WAY WE WORK
This is private 1:1 work, held for a minimum of three months.
Before we begin, I'll send you a few questions to sit with. Your answers become the starting point of our work together.
We meet approximately fortnightly for 90-minute sessions.
There is room between them for your life to happen, and for you to bring what emerges back into the work.
And actually, that is the whole point.
You can write to me between sessions when something important happens, a question arises, or you need to stay close to something we have touched together. Our correspondence is part of the work. It gives us another way of noticing what is unfolding, and sometimes it is where an important piece of the work begins to take shape.
The work is not mapped out in advance. But neither is it random. We follow what is actually happening — informed by experience, by context, by where you are right now.
Sometimes the question changes. Sometimes the thing we thought we were looking at opens onto something else. My role is to stay close enough to notice — and to know when it is time to follow it.

HOW TO BEGIN
I don't schedule sessions automatically through the website.
I want the first step to be human.
You can write to me and tell me a little about what is bringing you here, or simply what is alive for you right now.
I read every enquiry myself, and give it the attention it deserves. You'll hear from me within 24 hours.
From there, we can feel into whether this is the right place for you, and what kind of support would serve you best.
